Maxim magazine ranked her among the "Hottest Women" of Fall 2008 TV. Callies made the move to New York City in 2003, and soon landed her very first TV role. She played Kate O'Malley on Queens Supreme. Her first role in the lead role was as Detective Jane Porter from The WB's Tarzan.
